Seva is the soul of sanatana dharma — the act of offering, without expectation, in service of something larger than oneself. We believe technology should serve the temple, not the other way around.
Bridging the Divine & the Digital
Many devotees grew up surrounded by ritual but live far from their family deity now. Many temples have wisdom and tradition but no way to reach the devotees who would care. Many trusts do real work — gauseva (cow service), annadana (food offering), gurukulas (traditional schools) — but cannot tell their story to the people who would gladly stand beside them.
SevaCart was built so a devotee in Mumbai can commission a Rudrabhisheka at a verified partner temple tomorrow morning. So a software engineer in San Francisco can sponsor annadana for fifty cows in Tirthahalli on her grandmother’s tithi (lunar anniversary). So a young couple can register their new home with a Vastu Pooja at the temple where they were married. The intention is simple: remove distance, preserve dignity.
We don’t replace the priest. We don’t conduct the seva. We don’t claim to be 80G-certified — we are an LLP, not a trust. We don’t sell merchandise. We don’t run ads. We don’t sell devotee data. Sevasannidhi LLP is the technology bridge — the actual seva is performed by the trust at their location, by their priests, in their tradition.
We don’t onboard anyone without verification. Every partner’s PAN is verified against MCA records, and bank accounts are validated through our payment gateway’s verification API before any seva can be listed.
We are a small team in Bengaluru that grew up performing these sevas ourselves. The platform you see is what we wished existed when we were trying to offer a seva at a temple far from where we live.
To make every authentic seva, at every authentic institution, accessible to every devotee who wants to offer it — without distance, without intermediation, without losing the meaning.
Ten years from now: a devotee anywhere in the world can find their family temple, sponsor a seva in their grandfather’s name, and receive the same prasadam blessing their family received for 400 years.
Five values that decide every product call we make.
Stated plainly, so you can hold us to them.

यज्ञदानतपःकर्म न त्याज्यं कार्यमेव तत्।
यज्ञो दानं तपश्चैव पावनानि मनीषिणाम्॥
yajña-dāna-tapaḥ-karma na tyājyaṁ kāryam eva tat |
yajño dānaṁ tapaś-caiva pāvanāni manīṣiṇām ||
Acts of sacrifice, charity and austerity should not be abandoned — they should be performed. Yajna, dana, and tapas are the purifiers of even the wise.
